How much towing capacity is required to tow an LED trailer?
The required towing capacity varies based on the screen size and type, with a minimum requirement of 4,000 lbs. Most half-ton pickup trucks can tow everything except the HD Elite 191, which should be towed with a ¾ ton pickup with a minimum towing capacity of 8,600 lbs. Be sure to check your vehicle requirements before hooking on the trailer.

Where is the best place to store an LED trailer?
It is preferable to store your LED Trailer in an indoor location, such as a garage or storage unit, to maintain its condition. While the trailer is all-weather, outdoor storage may lead to more frequent cleaning due to exposure to mud and dirt.
Can I rotate my LED trailer screen in any direction?
Yes, HD Audiovisuals® LED Trailers feature 360-degree screen rotation, allowing you to display at the perfect angle.
What kind of panels are used on an LED trailer?
HD Audiovisuals® LED Trailers utilize all-weather 3.9mm pixel pitch panels, delivering high-definition video with vibrant colors and crystal-clear clarity. Our screens ensure full visibility day or night, rain or shine.
How do I set up audio for my LED trailer?
First, place both speakers on each side of the screen, secured on top of the speaker mounts. Next, run XLR cables from the speakers to the audiovisual control box and connect the power cables to the outlets in the box. With the Audio Upgrade, you’ll receive two powerful QSC 12.1 speakers and a state-of-the-art Art Pro-MX622B audio mixer, providing everything you need to produce excellent sound to complement the stunning visual display.
Are LED trailers weatherproof?
Yes, HD Audiovisuals® LED trailers are IP65 rated, making them both water and dustproof. Unlike other display technologies, there’s no need to worry about rain or snow damaging our equipment. This makes HD Audiovisuals® LED Trailers the best solution for year-round use.

What are LED video walls?
Made of interconnected LED panels and supported by scaffolding, LED video walls provide high-resolution displays adaptable to any size, making them ideal for events of any size. Their superior image quality and small footprint allow for flexible installation in nearly any location, with viewability at any time of day.
LED Walls vs LED Trailers
Although both are composed of the same 3.9mm pixel-pitch panels, there are significant differences between LED Walls vs LED Trailers. Depending on your specific needs, one option may be more suitable than the other.
Portability
LED Walls
LED Walls are stationary displays assembled by piecing together individual panels to form a larger screen. Due to their lack of portability, LED Walls typically take over an hour to set up, depending on the display size. Additionally, panels and scaffolding equipment must be stored and transported to the installation site. The setup weighs less than an LED trailer, allowing a vehicle with lower towing capacity to transport the equipment.
LED Trailers
LED Trailers are the ultimate mobile display screens. Simply hook the trailer to a vehicle’s hitch, and you’re ready to drive it wherever you need. Their portability saves time, money, and the need for a crew of experienced technicians.
Set Up
LED Walls
A crew of event technicians is typically assigned to set up an LED Wall. Individual panels are linked together and supported by scaffolding, a process that takes at least an hour to complete. With LED Walls, the size of the display is completely up to you.
LED Trailers
Set-up is simple and easy for almost anyone to complete. After arriving with the trailer, just supply power through the onboard generator or shore power, turn on the breakers and power up the audiovisual control box, and plug in your device via HDMI or SDI to display. It’s really that easy.
Quality
LED Walls
You’re guaranteed professional quality with LED Walls, making them perfect for business conferences and large concerts with thousands in attendance.
LED Trailers
HD Audiovisuals® trailers are state-of-the-art LED screens like no other. Crafted by professionals with decades of experience in audiovisual rental and trailer manufacturing, our LED trailers combine high-definition video quality with effortless portability.
Cost
LED Walls
Due to the additional personnel required and longer setup time, renting LED Walls tends to be more expensive. However, purchasing an LED Wall may be more affordable than an LED Trailer.
LED Trailers
Renting an LED trailer is more affordable than an LED Wall, requiring fewer technicians and offering quicker setup and teardown times. Our LED Trailers are custom-built with a 360-degree swivel screen, onboard power, an all-in-one audiovisual control box, and many more features not available with an LED Wall, making them more expensive to purchase.
What are LED Walls used for?
Most commonly, LED Walls are used for large displays at concerts, scoreboards in stadiums, and corporate presentations, but they can be used in any way that LED Trailers are. They are particularly beneficial in tight settings, such as on a stage or atop a platform that a trailer cannot access.
Should I rent or buy an LED video wall?
If you have properly trained personnel, storage space, and time for maintenance, then purchasing an LED Wall is an excellent choice. Renting is recommended for those who prefer to avoid the technical hassle of setting up and maintaining the equipment.
Why are LED screens better than projection?
Both display technologies have their advantages. Projection technology is more affordable to purchase or rent and produces higher-resolution imaging. However, it can become washed out due to light exposure, making it unsuitable for daytime events. On the other hand, LED screens are more expensive but offer high-definition viewing at any time of day and in any weather condition.
